After a hectic morning I find I’m around 30mins behind where I had hoped to be… such is life. Anyway on with the Day 3 updates
Assembling the retail product
After horsing around with various concepts I ended up choosing the humble blister pack as the method of delivery. The dice are within a ziploc bag and then backed by packing foam. This allows the potential customer to view 5 sides of the product while holding the dice secure against damage
Each retail Backer gets 6 of these
Things left to do
– Drop retail packs into Games Hub and ship remainder to Canada.
– Pour the Kickstarter CSV file with shipping data into a labelling run and assemble the packages
– Cry as I spend an enormous percentage of your money on stamps
– Pick up Sam from school
– Deposit packages in unmarked postal boxes around Edinburgh to kind of make it a game for Sam where we are spys leaving dead drops around the city centre.
